Frequently Asked Questions

What are NFTs?

NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token, and are digital files that represent ownership of a unique asset such as a watch, artwork, music file, etc. Each NFT has a set of unique codes and cannot be replaced or with another NFT. This does not mean that you are the only one who can see. NFT provides the owner with a unique Proof of Ownership.

What is a blockchain?

In technical terms, blockchain is called a distributed ledger system. This means that all participants in the network can approve transactions without the need for a central entity.

With blockchain, you have the option of securing yourself against theft since information "stored" on the blockchain cannot be copied or manipulated. Once your transaction is verified, it is combined with other transactions to form a new block on the ledger system. The new block is added to the already existing blockchain and thus becomes permanent and uneditable.

What is Unicus Watch?

We are a Danish company that works with blockchain technology on a daily basis and in particular certification of data via blockchain. Unicus Watch develops and distributes NFT for customers who have watches in the "high-end" segment. However, everyone is welcome to have an NFT made of your watch, regardless of the value of the watch.

How do I know what I am buying is authentic?

Blockchain is transparent and you can therefore always see what has happened from transactions on the blockchain. This is exactly what makes blockchain unique.

Where do I store my NFTs?

You should store your NFT in your own personal electronic wallet. Under information, you can see how you can easily download a Trust Wallet. If you are a little unsure of how to store your NFT, you can simply leave them on our platform, and you can access them by using the number of your NFT that you are assigned. If you have the slightest doubt, we are always ready to help.

Can I have a refund?

You can always undo your purchase! When you shop via the internet, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you regret your purchase, please note that we charge DKK 49 in transaction fees. If you regret it within 3 hours, we will issue a full refund. Send an email to support@unicuswatch.com with your details within 3 hours and we will cancel your order. An NFT that has been produced, but where the customer would like to have a refund, is destroyed via the NFT Burn wallet - this can also be documented via blockchain.
